Greetings everyone, I've been so busy this month. Madison will be turning one next week and we're having a party for her this weekend. Halloween is coming up and we have had a lot of rain this month. My one daughter is in band and basketball so I'm running around for that as well.
I was hoping to get decoration out for the party but with this rain I'll have to wait. I'm trying to catch up here and get into the other forum as well. Who knew Oct. could get this busy. School parties and dances. |

I've been so busy lately that the months have just been flying by. We've recently moved and we're thrilled by it. We have a great big yard and lots of room to grow flowers and have a veggie garden, I'm even going to start an herb garden here as well.
I have one tomatoe plant left that sits in my window sill I'm hoping it will give me some tomatoes thru the winter months it's just starting the flower now. So wish me luck with it.
It's been snowing out all morning here but I'm sure we will only get maybe three inches of snow. I've moved most of my flowers with me and I can't wait to get them settled in this spring. |

Greetings everyone, as you know with the winter months there's not much time to garden so we move our gardens inside. Recently I've moved from being in a crowded town to the countryside I grew up in. My new home has big windows and a wrap around deck and a yard for my children. A Big yard.
I started my seedlings the beginning of the week and alround they are popping out from under the soil. The first to show was my sunflower seeds. I like to use the ones put in the wildbird seed mix., Next to show was the thyme. Yes, I've started some herbs which is a first year of me trying an herb garden. I have some rosemary and lavender, mint, danilion for my little bea she loves them. I also have for get me not and rock soapwort. I think I named them all. I start a set of twelve and a few I have two of.
I have a big windowsill in my kitchen now which still grows the tomatoe plant from the fall which is flowering and then a few favorite plants ivy, fade, spiderplant and one I don't know the name of I'll discribe it for you and maybe someone here will know the name. It's a bulb plant tiny bulbs. and It looks like butterflies dark purple butterflies. When I look at it I think of the winnie the pooh movie where piglet gets carried off by butterflies that are all on a bush. Anyone know?
Have you started anything yet? |

| I believe I came back to soon. Maybe I should leave for another month until it warms up more. I guess I'll wait it out it's a bit hard on the dogs traveling. |

It's been a while since I've last been in here but that is not to say my gardening has stopped. My small veggie garden is filled with carrots, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, watermelon, cantilope?, corn, strawberries and a Blackberries bush.
I've set up my garden pond with Iris, tall grass, periwinkle and sunflower. The pond is filled with nudes, fish and a frog. I started some herbs in my kitchen windowsill and I have lavender planted by my deck. I have roses and another blackberry bush, lots of sunflowers and of course my favorite the bleedingheart bush.
And I just keep adding to it all.
I'd love to here what you have growing in your gardens. |
