I chose my screen name "Gloria Gypsy" because as a child I travelled and moved quite a bit. We never lived in one place more than a year. As an adult I continued this way of life. I do not have and actual gypsy ancestry ( I am German and Irish)but I have led a nomadic life until two years ago when I met my fiance and moved to a wonderful place with him in the country. I immediately felt a connection with the land and the woods where we reside. I do not feel the need to travel any more.
On a spiritual level I follow a Northern/Celtic tradition. I practice Seidhr and Spae Craft. I work with the runes, including casting the runes for divination, galdr and other forms of rune magick such as bindrunes. I also read tarot. My approach is more Shamanic. I spend a lot of time in my woods meditating and working with Dryads and other woodland spirits. I journey to different realms or planes if you will with my meditations and magickal practices. I have worked a bit with Dreams also.
I also enjoy making things, such as runes and wands from Oak branches, jewelry and other natural crafts.
I garden and grow herbs, and collect unique stones and rocks.
Because I am solitary, I felt that I would benefit from this forum in being able to discuss different aspects of divination with other members. I was hoping to be able to qive insight to other members from my own knowledge and gain insight from others knowledge.

Welcome to Realm of Mystics. I find your knowledge with runes to be a great addition to the site. Maybe you would be interested in hosting or teaching.
