WHAT EXACTLY IS DREAMING?
Certain processes occur during the sleep stage while others occur only while a person is dreaming. Sleep does not necessarily mean to dream. There are states of dreaming that are not truly part of sleep, in which a person can come pretty close to being awake though not fully conscious. The majority of dreams however occur while a person is asleep. Not remembering a dream does not mean you have not dreamed. Dream memory fades quickly upon awakening and you may simply not remember. That is why it is a good idea to keep a Dream Journal because it is harder for some to remember their dreams. If you wake through the night from a dream quickly pen as much information about the dream down while it is still fresh in your mind. Some of us may not have that problem you may wake in the morning and still remember a dream you had at say 1:00 a.m. therefore you may write it down when you feel the need.
We already know what happens to the body when we are asleep; the unconscious part of the mind is allowed free range of expression while the body functions on a reduced scale maintaining vital functions just enough activity to maitain life. The mind and spirit however not necessarily dormant.
The minds natural task is to filter information from the outside to the unconscious level in order to be understood by the dreamer. Filtering is done so each person will except it which is based on each individuals willingness to except the material. It is different for each of us.The spirit or psyche is now free to send symbolical material to the conscious level to call attention to certain conditions he/she is not normally aware of. Both processes use imagery and auditory material that is why we see and hear in dreams.
You can divide dreams into FOUR categories:
*Dreams due to physical problems resulting in nightmares or distorted imagery *Dreams due to suppressed material, useful with psychoanalytical processes *Dreams of psychic nature *Out-Of-Body experiences
Dreams caused by physical problems do in no way relieve these pressures, what they do is notify him/her of the existence of some type of disturbance in the body or environment. The moment your system is back in balance this type of dreaming will cease.
Dreams due to suppressed material is useful when dealing with psychoneurotic individuals, because these people at times can be cured through discussion of his/her suppressed problem. This should not be done alone but with a professional.
Dreams due to physical problems @ suppressed material are not nearly as vivid as psychic dreams or out-of-body experiences. The first two categories are more easily forgotten upon waking unless they are immediately written down. Not so with psychic dreams or out-of-body experiences; one is rarely able to shake them. Some psychic dreams are so strong they waken the dreamer and in most cases the dream remain clear in the memory for long periods of time. The first two categories are usually jumbled and confusing bits and pieces while the other two categories are complete messages or events. Of course their are cases were the categories get mingled together this happens when the dreamer is not fully relaxed or is not a good recipent of external materials.
Hello everyone I'd like to start the course of with some material for you all to read.
HOW WE SLEEP ( From the beginning)
Sleep period with babies consist of two distinct phases that we all experience:
Rapid eye movement or REM sleep: during this time is when we actively dream. Your eyes move almost as if your watching a dream take place.
Non REM sleep: consists of four phases: drowsiness, light sleep, deep sleep and very deep sleep. During the progression from drowiness to deepest sleep you become less and less active, breathing slows and becomes very quiet. Very little if any dreaming occurs during non-REM sleep.
1 drowsiness 2 REM sleep 3 light sleep 4 deep sleep 5 very deep sleep
This pattern last all the way into adulthood.
The 5 W's For Dream Interpretation
Who is the main character in your dream. Is it you or someone else?
What is happening in the dream are you running, afraid, talking with someone, looking for something?
Where does the dream take place. Is it a place you know or is it unfamiliar to you. Are you in another country?
Why is this happening, what are you feeling happy, sad, scared, nervous?
When time frame, is it a past event, present or future?
Different Types Of Dreams:
Prophectic: Future events are foreseen or foretold
Warning: Future events are depicted in such away that one can alter the results
ESP: containg telepathic material frequently of simultaneous events or retrocognitive materialsuch as psychometeric dreams were events from the past unknown to the dreamer are experienced
Out-Of-Body: The dreamers inner self leaves the physical shell and travels to events pr places external to the personality
Survival: Communicating with the other world or with individuals who have pasted
Reincarnation: Experiences from other lifetimes are relived or memories realized which are not known to the dreamer in his/her conscious state.
Symbolical: Psychological meaning given to the dreamer to help them with everyday problems.
The Bible and other ancient documents are full of interpretations in which differentiation has to be made between the dream image and its meaning of reality.
Calpurnia the wife of Julius Caesar had dreamt of his assassination that night. Caesar however rejected her warning.
Artemidorus the philosopher stated dreams and visions are infused into men for their advantage and instruction.
He considered dreams from two points of view ordinary dreams caused by mental or physical conditions of the dreamer and his environment and dreams pertaining to the future containing material and symbols which could be interpreted to foretell events yet to come. The ancients put great stock in omens events in the future that where not clear but which could be interpreted as having significance for either the one observing the omen or for others.Omens are more of a disguised warning of things to come.
I ASK THAT YOU ALL KEEP A COPY OF THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF DREAMS ON AN INDEX CARD OR SOMETHING SMALL SO YOU CAN LOOK BACK AT THESE QUICK REFERENCES AS YOU ARE TAKING THE COURSE. aND mAKE ANY NOTES NEXT TO THEM THAT WILL HELP YOU TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH TYPE.

When getting a dream dictionary everyone looks for the one that will tell them the true meaning of their dreams. If they buy one and they don't like what they read they assume they didn't buy the right book. But all dream books are going to be different. You need to find one that fits your way of thinking. I myself don't use a dream book yes I do find them interesting to read and you can learn from them a different train of thought. However I use my intuitive thinking to guide me through dream meanings. All dreams have several meanings you just need to find the meaning that feels right for you remember it's your mind and your way of thinking that is trying to guide you in your dreams. When I interpret a dream for others I try to give several meanings and let the dreamer choose which meaning is right for them, sometimes I get a strong one meaning and it's usually right for the dreamer. How do I do that well it's probablly from the years of researching dreams and a bit of my own gift working together. I don't call my gift psychic, I never liked that word for it has been well abused. My gift has helped me for meaning years keep my family safe and help me guide others for many years so when I get a dreamer asking me to interpret their dream and I get only one visional meaning I believe it's my gift working for that person sometimes I will get several meanings but one will be very strong so I give the strongest meaning first.
So buying a dream dictionary can be helpful but you'll never have one book that is right for every person in the world. You'll need to research it a bit until you find the one that works best with your train of thought. The symbols in are dreams are there to help us in a way different for a dream just coming out and saying what it means with the several psychic dream types here a symbolic dream will come when the mind isn't fully willing to receive to message. __________________ |

Warning Dreams 101
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've noticed over the years of my experience with warning dreams that a lot of them pertain to my life and the life of those I'm close too. This is because a warning dream is meant to be changed. Now there are cases where you'll have another type of warning dream I call it SYMPATHIC WARNINGS where you'll get a warning dream from some place far away about someone you don't know. If you're prone to have warning dreams like myself you may get a warning dream of this type almost as much as the other type this sympathic type of warning dream is as close to prophectic as you can get but it remains a warning dream because of it's need to be changed. You'll wake from a warning dream with a feeling of needing to change it, to stop it. And there are levels to just how extreme the need is. It could be a simple need to feel you have to call this person, to going right out and getting it done now.....And you'll know this. You'll feel the level of need. Warning dreams are very instinctive.
Why we have sympathic warning dreams is unclear being you're not in the area of need. You'll have no way to contact this stranger or never even have heard of the place the dream pertains too but still the message was sent to you for a reason. Some how you're more prone to pick up a warning dreams and that's why I call them sympathic warning dreams because of there need for change but your inability to do anything about it which makes it seem like it should fall under prophectic but because of the need for change it remains a warning dream. I feel somehow the message doesn't get to the right person because they're not open to receiving it. The message gets delivered to someone able to receive the dreams more easily. Which makes it you or I and causes us to have distress of the dream we're not able to change. This making it (prophectic if you will) because we can't change it. Messages can't be sent back because the person it was meant for is at a new address it's different from the postal mail.
Therefore there are two types of people who receive warning dreams those who change and those who change and receive. __________________

Prophetic Dreams
Prophetic dreams may range from involving entire groups of people, the world, minor concern of an individuals future or that of friends and relatives. Pretty much anything! A prophetic dream is clear, precise and detailed. They can also be obtained in the awake state. When it comes in a dream state it allows for a deeper and easier penetration of the conscious mind. Most people apply logic values to psychic material. In a dream state however logic is absent. For messangers however it is easier to get through to us while we sleep. It also depends on how well we are willing to except the message. It is foolish to dismiss a psychic dream just because the date for a predicted event has gone by. They may happen anywhere from a few hours after having the dream to years really. So don't be hasty to dismiss them.
Prophetic dreams have no symbolism. Sometimes we dream in spurts and this may be due to a dream type like prophetics only spurt for you as warning dreams continue. So look closely at your dream patterns. Prophetic dreams do not need alot of interpretation for they are telling you exactly what will happen. They may have several parts as well. One part may come true now while another part in the distant future still. And some may come to you incomplete. Why this happens we don't know yet but we do know this a prophetic dream can not be forced.
Another term for foretelling future events is called. precognitionThe prophecies are visual or maybe only intuitive and actual words are not needed. The ability to have a psychic dream is connected with the receptiveness of the individual. Prophetic dreams can be very upsetting. We offer a support group in Clairaudience and Clairvoyant section on this board
There are psychologist who will tell you dreams are simply hallucinations, creative expressions of the mind, even a human longing, needs, problems. But they can not explain away exact knowledge of future events.
Paranormal dreams are subject to laws just like everything else. There is no such thing as selective dreaming not in this type of dreaming.
Many prophetic dreams foretell death or tragedy but don't confuse this time of dream with warning dreams. You can not change a prophetic dream.

ESP 101 Here we're going to be taking a closer look at ESP. First I'll give you some insight on what exactly ESP is.
The dreamer perceives or receives messages from another person. This person can be living or dead. The information will pertain to the here and now PRESENT.
The transmission needs not be conscious or exact the dreamer simply picks up thought energy. This can be of contempted events and actual events.
We also have Simultaneous dreamsthe dreamer tunes into an event actually happening somewhere else at a distance like you may be in the USA and pick up an event happening in England, or other distant places. The dreamer is present but not seen it would be like watching a movie of what is happening there. However you can elso pick up on an event of even our neighbor them being in their home you in yours. We can even have ESP happen in the wake state.
ESP dreams are telepathic dreams. There for you may find us looking further into telepathic abilities in the advanced course. ESP is very strong picking up someone thoughts like finishing their sentences you are that in tune to their thought waves. And a show of that strength is a dream of a distant event you have no knowledge of yet you may see it on the news in a few days and think, that's what my dream was.
The clarity of an ESP dream and strong remembrance when waking will set in apart from symbolic dreams.
Some Signs of ESP.
1. The telephone rings and you know who it is.
2. You know what someone is about to say to you before they say the words.
3. You get a hunch or knowing about something and it turns out to be correct.
4. You get a sudden urge to go somewhere or do something, and when you do that thing, and it turns out to be the right thing that you should have done. And you are pleased.
5. You get a sudden urge to go somewhere or do something, and you ignore it or don't do it, and it turns out that you should have. And you regret it.
6. You can understand someone's true inner feelings even though on the outside they are hiding them.
7. You have a feeling that there is a presence or that someone or something behind the scene is helping you.
8. When something happens in your life, either good or not so good, and you suddenly understand a higher purpose behind it.
9. You sometimes hear a soft inner voice tipping you off about things happening in your life or in the life of someone else.
The difference between a psychic, an intuitive, and a seer. The psychic is one who tunes to a higher source to get information that comes from out side of the intellect. This information comes from the universal mind through ESP (extra sensory perception). The intuitive knows things based upon an intellectual capacity that utilizes logic, personal experience and learned knowledge to arrive at certain conclusions about the facts. The seer has the highly developed senses of both , plus the added mental tuning to another realm of knowledge. The seer is able to connect with the world of deceased souls that are said to be dead, and those who are in a different reality than those who exist in the physical world.
Those taking the advanced course will have a chance to join our ESP Developement Circle.
We will cover: *Symbols Exercises *Telepathy and Mind Power *Telepathy and Mind Control |
