First I'd like to say Thank You to all who contribute in some way to Realm of Mystics. Be it you have decided to teach a course in divinations. Host an area on the forum or your just a member coming in reading. You may not think your doing anything for the forum but you truly are because as a registered member you raise the amount of members we get to the site. The more members we have the more people will want to know why you're a member and will come check out the site.
This year has been an interesting year for the forum. Our divination courses are starting to open up for everyone. I'm getting pm's asking, "Can we try this" or "I thought we could maybe add .....". This is great! Ideas are starting to flow threw the community.
Now it's time to also try to get the Post up an running. So everyone has an idea of what we'd like to see here, here's a basic run down on the lay out.

June 2006 Post
With the summer months ahead of us, I know everyone will be enjoying the great outdoors more. We welcome spiritual journey articles to be submitted to the post. Important issues with the environment and health issues as well.
My hopes are once this first issue is fully filled in everyone will have a basic look at what the post will be. We can work from there to keep the articles coming in and making it bigger and better. It's hard at first because no one knows what to expect but I hope to get alot of submissions and a lot of images. This will help draw people into the community.
In honor of one of our first members "Faery-Wings", I decided to submit Faery-Wings site as the first business in our business ads. It's a wonderful online business and only those with a specific connection to what our little divinations forum is all about will be submitted into the Post for members to view and enjoy their business and updates on sales and news.
As we grow as a people we grow as a community!

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt (Reuters) - Three hundred million children are hungry and 18,000 die every day for want of food while the world remains largely ignorant about the magnitude of the problem, the U.N. food agency head said.
"If the headline in the media tomorrow was 'Forty-five 747s crashed today, everyone on board was killed and oh, by the way, they were all children', the world would be outraged," said James Morris, executive director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
"I genuinely think the public doesn't understand how serious the issue is."
Humanitarian agencies say wealthy governments are not giving enough to combat hunger, which kills more people than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria put together.

Apple Crisp
8 apples (Pippin or Granny Smith)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
3/4 cup raisins
1 cup apricot jam (spicy variety, if available)
apple juice
Topping
2 cups rolled oats
2/3 cup toasted wheat germ
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel and slice apples; you should have enough to fill a greased 9x13" baking dish. Mix the apples in a bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon, flour, raisins, and apricot jam. Pour mixture into the baking dish. Add just enough apple juice to cover the bottom of the dish.
Mix topping ingredients in a bowl and press over the top of the apple mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until apples are soft.

Recently on the news there was talk about two countries we get our US supplies from. One country sales gas at 61 cents a galine and the other only 11 cents a galine. The president blames price gouging but we should be putting the blame where it belongs THE PRESIDENT!
Write to your state representatives and write to the president. Tell them we will not stand any longer for the price of our gas. These countries are profiting off Us yes some are trying to do good things with the money like schools but others are just buliding stores and tall builds. All at our expense.
