| I find Areomancy to be fascinating. People don't realize just how much we can learn from watching the behavior of animals. In fact animal behavior can tell us so much, often it is simply over looked. |

~ I'm with you 100 percent. ~ I've often wondered about the animals in that part of Asia before the tsunami.- I never heard aything on the subject from the mainstream news.- Did the dogs, cats, cattle and birds become restless or start to leave before the disaster? ~ Any thoughts? ~ very Brightest Blessings,~ Cobweb |

| I've been searching online and I've had no luck finding anything on this subject which I'm quite interested in. My granny would tell me things abot it but it would be nice to really read up on the subject. |

Hummingbirds Behavior
Depending on where in North America you live, the fall departure for the southward migration typically occurs between July and November.
Hummingbirds migrate in response to hormonal changes, which are triggered by decreasing length of daylight.
They will need to fatten up to nearly double normal body weight to survive the journey, and thus appreciate your feeder more than ever up until literally the last minute before they depart.
Just recently we started seeing a hummerbird in our yard.I'd say it began in July. Are these little birds starting to fatten themselves up getting ready to migrate south we'll see..........

Here in Australia there was a few news articles about the Elephants and other animals on one of the smaller islands. Apparently a day or 2 before the Tsunami hit the animals took of up into the mountains. The people on the island knew something was going to happen because of the way the animals acted. On that island there were very few deaths. I think it is amazing how animals can sense things faster than most humans can. |

| I remember one thing: It's said when wild animals come down into yards and such in the fall to eat that it's going to be a harsh winter. |
