I'd like everyone to take the time to answer a few questions for the community. A way for us to know a bit about you. I'll post the questions and start with being the first person. All community members may feel free to come in and post when they are ready.

Yes. It formed the first part of a craft name I once used and it's stuck as a screen name.
2) How did you find Realm Of Mystics?
I came across it on MW. :)

Pagan... witchcraft...

I'm more a reply-er (I believe I invented that word...) than a starter. Though if there's something I really want to know about I'll ask it.
5) Are you interested in becoming a teacher or host on the forum if asked?
Erm... I don't know if I have anything I could teach.  Maybe.
6) Do you have a spirit Guide or Animal Guide you identify with the most?
Cat... I'm working on the spirit guide part.
7) Do you cast spells?
When necessary.
8) If you could sum up yourself with ONE WORD what would it be?
I don't think I can. "Confident" springs to mind-- that's how I always think of myself. "Pretentious" is probably also accurate. That's two words... *doesn't care* :P
9) What do you hope to gain from being a member of Realm Of Mystics?
Knowledge.

I am sorry I didn't see this Questionaire. Here are my answers:
1) Is there a story behind your user I.D./screen name?
I got my name from a tarot card. My tarot card is Empress, however, in the DruidCraft Tarot it is The Lady. I love the picture too, it reminds me of when I was younger and how I saw myself. Mind you, I'm older but I still see that picture in my head and still feel her in my heart. Yet all the wiser now!!
2) How did you find Realm Of Mystics?
While lurking in Mystic Wicks.
3) Do you follow any certain path (Religion,Pagan Path, or Ancient Religion?
I'm currently studying Druidry/Celtic, with a sprinkle of Herbalism, Candle and Moon Magic, Kitchen Witchery, Feng Shui, Palmistry, Runes, and Tarot
4) Do you enjoy starting discussion or replying to them?
Oh YES!!! I'm a talker!! And not shy!
5) Are you interested in becoming a teacher or host on the forum if asked?
Sure if you think my skills warrant that kind of responsibility. I used to teach adults how to use computers, for 30 years! I love to teach. We can talk about it.
6) Do you have a spirit Guide or Animal Guide you identify with the most?
I believe I have a Spirit Guide, however, I'm not sure about the Animal Guide. I have never spoken to my Spirit Guide nor heard them talk to me but I feel them. Usually when I read my Tarot.
7) Do you cast spells?
Yes I do. Simple ones, nothing complex.
8) If you could sum up yourself with ONE WORD what would it be?
Solitary
9) What do you hope to gain from being a member of Realm Of Mystics?
I signed up to take the Dream class, so for now that is my only expectation. I have checked the site out and made a few posts, hopefully I haven't been too big of nuisance.
10) What would you be most able to contribute to the community?
Conversation, empowerment, support, ideas, talk, and other things I can't think of right now but as they come up I can do that too!! |

I have been studying Wicca for a year and 3 days. I just wanted to include it in my identity.
2) How did you find Realm Of Mystics?
I was on the MysticWicks site and a class thread directed me here. I am glad I found it.
3) Do you follow any certain path (Religion,Pagan Path, or Ancient Religion?
I was never very religious, though I was brought up catholic. However I was drawn to the Wiccan Path.
4) Do you enjoy starting discussion or replying to them?
Both, depending on the topic at hand.
5) Are you interested in becoming a teacher or host on the forum if asked?
Since I am still fairly new to this (Wicca and Paganism)I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to teach anyone. I can only comment on my own experiences.
6) Do you have a spirit Guide or Animal Guide you identify with the most?
Not yet, but hope to in the future.
7) Do you cast spells?
Again, not yet. I am gearing up for one, though.
8) If you could sum up yourself with ONE WORD what would it be?

I had an encounter with an animal early this morning. Wanted to know more about its significance. Browsed and found.

Father's father Jewish, Father's mother Irish Catholic. Mother's parents Scot presbyterian. Baptized Catholic, confirmed Anglican. Not religious.
4) Do you enjoy starting discussion or replying to them?
Not sure yet.

Only if I felt I something to contribute. More of a terminal student I think.

I've always felt a connection to the fox. This morning's encounter with a raccoon seemed significant.

I just joined today. I always have a hard time with intros so you can imagine how pleased I am to find the quiz here. Makes it so much easier to figure out what to say. :')

Due to serious health issues for both myself and my husband and thre (yes three) computers dying I lost contact with the pagan cyber community. In the past week I have been slowly reaching out and feeling my way back once more into the pagan online world. It is like I am starting over, making new beginnings thus the name newmoons

I'm pretty eclectic, but if you had to put a name to my leanings I guess it would be kitchenwithery

When I come upon something that sparks my interest I have no problem in starting a discussion on it or replying to somebody else's post, but I won't post just to babble or to stir up a hornets nest. You might not hear from me for 3 or 4 weeks and then have 20 posts over two or three days depending on what I am reading at the time and how well I do or do not understand what it is I am reading.

If I were confident of the matterial I would be more then happy to help

I found it on MysticWicks when browsing, I though I would just look it up as I have heard the name being mentioned a few times

Not really, I have my own veiws on Religion and the Divine, and just my way of following them really. Some of my views are similar to other paths. I suppose I could just describe myself as a general Pagan, really.

If it was between the both, I would prefer replying to discussions

If someone sees that I have something useful to contribute to this forum, then so be it.

Hello Autumn I did not abandon the forum as you may have thought. I just went away for the winter months. I've returned from my journey.
Here's my input:

4) Do you enjoy starting discussion or replying to them? I enjoy both you should know that by now Autumn. I think a community is only strong when you get a balance of both.

I have been all over the spectrum within Christianity and have finally found a place that allows for my curiousity and stills "fits" with my main beliefs.
4) Do you enjoy starting discussion or replying to them? I don't mind. Usually I have foot-in-mouth disorder, so I tend to say things that end up being arguing points and not mean it at all...
5) Are you interested in becoming a teacher or host on the forum if asked? I don't know if I could. That takes someone who isn't chewing on their toes pretty regularly, doesn't it?
